Rating Types
OmniGrade's credit ratings provide a consolidated evaluation of a rating holder using OmniGrade’s methodology and include the:
- Probability of fulfilling its obligations towards partners;
- Probability of failure to pay on time.
The rating characterises the degree of reliability of a company as a counterparty, the level of risk of doing business with them and their capability and intention to meet their debt obligations.
To calculate the credit rating an overall assessment of the Company operation is performed; five sub-ratings are calculated, each of them supporting an assessment of the Company from a different perspective.
The period of agreement for assigning a rating and its consequent monitoring is one year. During this period OmniGrade will continuously monitor the rating holder’s situation by means of a procedure using pre-defined covenants. If these are breached, the assigned rating will be revised.
OmniGrade provides the following types of ratings:
- Standard credit rating: defined using all key OmniGrade parameters in a standard format.
- Express credit rating: assigned online and is recommended for small scale debts.
- Complex credit rating: combines the methodologies of the Standard credit rating and special in-depth Due Diligence performed by OmniGrade experts at the Company.
- Individual credit rating: combines all the OmniGrade ratings elements (Standard, Express and Complex) with a recommended acceptable risk limit for each Debtor.
All ratings (excepting Individual ratings) are public: they are openly published on the OmniGrade Internet site and are available for all partners of a rating holder to see.
